Something New : Korean Shimeji Mushroom

I am an adventurous person when it consumes to food and drinks. However, I have fallen into a pattern of eating the same fruits and vegetables. So I decided to try some new fruits and vegetables this year.

The first new vegetables I have tried this year is the Korean Shimeji Mushroom. I bought it from an Asian green grocerer at Canley Heights (Yung Lee Fresh, 221 Canley Vale Road, Canley Heights). If you don't have an Asian green grocerer in your neck of the woods then you can look for them at your local Asian grocery stores. The Shimeji mushrooms are pretty cute, it looks like a little mushroom city.

How to cook?
I just cut off the stalk and washed them. Then I chuck them in my stir fry with hokkien noodles.

What do they taste like?
Like mushroom

Would you eat them again?
Yes
